Toy Car Tire Painting · Craftwhack
Months ago, nosotros decided it would be a proficient thought to put some paint onto Christian's motorcar tire and ringlet over a big white slice of paper.
It looked cool, but then I forgot all near it. After all, it's probably not as well child-friendly to back your car up when your kids are peering closely at the tires.
It didn't occur to me to modify this project until Beckett got some ultra-absurd, massively rugged superhero cars for his birthday. The tires were perfect.
Materials:
- Toy trucks or cars with crawly tires
- Big white paper or big white posterboard
- Paint
- Sponge brushes
Dig through your toy bins and evaluate the tires on every vehicle. Notice the ones with crawly tire treads.
Dab paint on the tires. We used acrylic paints (my favorite kind of paints), and they worked not bad. It helps to dab the paint on the tires, because brushing information technology on won't allow information technology to stick too to the tread bumps.
Now for the best part- coil the trucks over the paper. Information technology definitely helps make a better moving-picture show if you make vrrrrrrm noises.
Try different colors on unlike tires, and you'll get a rainbow of tread marks.
